NHMF, Invitation to speak

The National Housing Maintenance Forum invited Steve Coleman and Peter Brown from Takeparts to speak to an audience of maintenance professionals from Local Authorities and Housing Associations.
Responsibility for the detail choice of components is often not clearly set out. We believe that this is a mistake. Lifecycle of the fittings in a property have a large bearing on maintenance costs and the viability of the business plan over the 20-30 year period for which they need to last.

DIY SoS

BBC TV refurbishment program DIY SoS arrived in Liverpool in a big way, completing the biggest build ever undertaken. The Norris Green Youth Centre is a popular facility but the fabric of the building was failing and resources scarce.

DIY SoS drew together an army of volunteers with a supply line of donated materials for an epic 9 day transformation, amounting to an estimated project value of £1.2m.

LMH, 10,000 Homes Milestone

The 10,000th home refurbished in the Liverpool based LMH investment program was completed this month by our calculations. It slipped through, largely unnoticed, amongst the supplies that Takeparts are now making to an increasing client base that have adopted our message.

Smooth and unremarkable progress is a welcome consequence of supplying excellent and consistent materials, but we will definitely be taking a few moments out to reflect on the achievement and thank the client!
